Statement

My work arises from a place of attentive listening—an attunement to the subtle vibrations between self, place, and material. I engage in a process of unfolding, where each gesture, mark, and layered exposure reveals an emergent dialogue with the unseen and the ephemeral.

Through painting, cyanotype, and photographic processes, I seek to bridge inner landscapes with outer realities, creating thresholds where memory, perception, and presence converge. My practice is rooted in exploration—of material, form, and the spaces between—and shaped by a commitment to authenticity and thoughtful restraint.

I am drawn to moments of transition: fading light at dusk, the layering of time and place within exposures. These liminal spaces offer a canvas for reflection, inviting viewers to pause and encounter what lies just beyond words.

Ultimately, my work is an offering—a quiet conversation that honours the complexity of human experience, the impermanence of form, and the enduring search for connection and meaning.
